Downloading daily bank statements is one of the most common jobs. Daily bank account transaction statements come in TXT, CSV, XML and PDF files. Excel version 365 and now the current version 2021 has a new format for downloading/importing/pulling data from a PDF file to Excel.

As it is the daily work of the financial operations, we receive daily statements about changes in the account of our business bank, a recurring job (recursive job) which represents a good opportunity for automating the work.

For some “unknown” reason, PDF is the most common format for delivering daily bank statements. It is a common opinion that PDF files cannot be edited and content changed. But before we move on to that question, I must draw your attention to the fact that PDF can be created in many ways and in many variations of the format.
The first and most common way is by scanning existing paper documents (to see some things that are not printed) all together with the stamp and signature, as well as other “patterns” on the paper that do not come out of the printer.

As I stated in the previous article , sorting the contents of a range and/or array of values, we saw a standardized approach to sorting data. We can sort the value area in the form of a table (not a table object ) by choosing a column in ascending or descending order from AZ or ZA, as well as from the smallest to the largest number and vice versa.
The SORT function sorts the contents of a range or array in ascending or descending order. Values can be sorted by one or more columns. SORT returns a dynamic array of results.
It allows us to choose the order itself based on another range or array of values. That series, e.g. can be a sequence of days of the week or months of the year and does not have to appear in a sorted table. It is best to look at the following example.
From the example, we can see that it is not necessary in a sorted table to see the order in which the rows in the table are sorted.
